Frameless BLDC Torque Motors (Frameless Brushless DC Torque Motors) are a type of direct-drive motor composed solely of a stator and rotor, with no housing, bearings, or shaft.

A rotary joint allows for rotational movement between two links around a single fixed axis. It is the most common joint type in robotics, functionally similar to a human elbow or knee, to provide flexibility and articulation.

An RV (Rotary Vector) reducer is a high-precision, two-stage gearbox combining planetary and cycloidal gears, widely used in industrial robotics for joints requiring high torque, rigidity, and accuracy. It uses eccentric crankshafts to drive cycloid discs, minimizing backlash and providing long service life compared to harmonic drives.

A harmonic drive, also known as a strain wave gear, is a compact, high-ratio speed reducer and torque multiplier that uses elastic deformation to achieve precise, backlash-free motion, making it ideal for robotics, aerospace, and precision machinery where high accuracy and small size are critical. It works by using an elliptical wave generator that rolls inside a flexible flexspline, causing its teeth to engage with a rigid circular spline (which has more teeth) at two points, creating a significant reduction and smooth, precise movement.
